Ingredients

  • 225g self raising flour
  • 50g butter
  • 100 ml milk

Instructions

  • Put the flour in a bowl and add the butter, cut into pieces
  • Rub the butter into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs
  • Add enough milk to make a soft dough
  • Roll the dough onto a lightly floured surface until 1-1.5 cm thick
  • Cut the scones and place on a baking tray
  • Bake at 200°, gas mark 6, 180°(fan oven) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown
