Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oatbran
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup of raisins
  • 2/3 cup white chocolate chunks or chips

Instructions

  • Beat butter or margarine and brown sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy
  • Add the two eggs and mix well
  • In a separate bowl, combine oatbran, flour, baking powder and salt
  • Add the flour/bran mix to butter mix gradually, mixing well after each addition
  • Add raisins and white chocolate chunks/chips, mix well
  • Prepare a baking tray with greaseproof paper, grease and dust with flour, shaking off any excess
  • Drop rounded teaspoons of mix on the the prepared tray, flatten slightly (should make 12-14)
  • Bake for 15 minutes on 190C or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack
