This refreshing pear salad is a delightful blend of crisp continental salad greens, juicy pears, crunchy walnuts, savory turkey and ham, all brought together with a tangy red wine vinegar and honey dressing. It's a light and satisfying dish that is perfect for a quick lunch or as a side salad for a larger meal.

Ingredients

  • 180g/6oz bag Continental salad
  • 2 ripe pears
  • good handful walnut halves
  • 3 slices turkey
  • 3 slices ham
  • 1 small red onion , finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp clear honey
  • 125g/4½oz pot low-fat yogurt

Instructions

  • Tip the bag of salad onto a large platter. Quarter, core and slice the pears, and roughly chop the walnuts. Scatter the pears and walnuts over the salad leaves. Cut the turkey and ham into strips and scatter over the top.
  • Mix together all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, then drizzle over the salad just before serving.
