Ingredients

  • 125g/4½oz ready-made puff pastry
  • 4 tsp tomato
  • 30g/1oz cheddar
  • 4 fresh basil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Roll the dough out on a floured worked surface to a 3mm/⅛in thickness.
  • Spread the tomato puree all ove the pastry. Sprinkle over the cheddar and basil.
  • Roll the pastry up tightly, then cut it into 12 slices. Place the slices, cut-side up onto the baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden-brown.
