Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ultimate burger blend or ground beef
  • 4 Tbs. ultimate burger seasoning
  • 4 slices American cheese, broken into small squares, or 3 oz. of your favorite cheese, grated or crumbled
  • 4 sesame seed hamburger buns, split
  • Sliced dill pickles for serving
  • Sliced tomatoes for serving
  • Sliced red onion for serving
  • Bibb lettuce leaves for serving
  • Burger bomb sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat a Breville panini press and grill on the sear setting. Put the meat in a bowl and mix in the burger seasoning. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  • Place the burgers on the panini press and lower the top plate. Cook until medium-rare, 4 to 6 minutes, or to your desired doneness, raising the top plate and placing a slice of cheese on top of each burger during the last minute of cooking. Transfer to a platter.
  • Brush the cut sides of the buns with butter. Place the buns, cut side down, on the panini press and cook until lightly toasted, about 1 minute. Place the burgers on the bottom buns and top with lettuce, pickles and tomatoes. Drizzle with sauce, cover with the top half of the buns and serve immediately. Serves 4.
