Ingredients

  • 500g sausage meat
  • 100g sage and onion stuffing
  • 1 onion corsely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • seasoned flour
  • 100g plain flour
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  • mix sausage meat with stuffing mix and chopped onion and egg to bind
  • (the more you mix the smoother the patties)
  • take out a small piece about 3/4 the size of a golf ball
  • pat into a small burger shape
  • cover in seasoned flour
  • shallow fry over moderate heat
  • serve hot with new potatoes and onion gravy
  • or take cold for tomorrows pack up
