Ingredients

  • Nonstick vegetable oil spray
  • 1/4 (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 10-ounce bag marshmallows
  • 1/4 honey
  • 1/2 unflavored whey protein powder
  • 2 old-fashioned oats
  • 1 raw shelled sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 sliced almonds
  • 1/2 sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 2-ounce bag pork cracklin's (about 2 cups), large pieces crumbled

Instructions

  • Coat a 13x9x2-inch pan and the back of a rubber spatula with nonstick spray. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and honey and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted.
  • Add protein powder and stir until smooth. Off heat, fold in oats, sunflower seeds, nuts, cranberries, and pork cracklin's. Working quickly, stir to combine.
  • Quickly transfer to prepared pan; press into an even layer with spatula. Let cool until set, about 30 minutes. Cut into 12 bars.
