Ingredients

  • 200g butter
  • 100g light muscovado sugar
  • 55g rolled/porridge oats
  • 120g wholemeal flour
  • 120g self-raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50g pistachio nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 5/ 180C.
  • Beat the butter, sugar and then gradually the egg.
  • Fold in the flour, nuts, porridge oats and spoon onto a lined baking tray.
  • Bake for 15-25 minutes or until golden.
