Pea Pullao

Ingredients
- 2 cups rice, washed, soaked and drained
- 1 cup peas, boiled
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 cloves
- 2-3 green chillies, slit lengthwise
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp shahjeera
- corriander leaves, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil. Fry sliced onions till golden brown. Add all the spices and the crushed garlic. Stir fry for a few minutes
- Add salt and rice. Stir fry. Add 4 cups of water and cook.
- When the rice is half-cooked, add the peas and the chopped corriander. Cover and cook till done.
