Onion Bhajees
These crispy onion fritters are a delightful treat to enjoy. The blend of spices, onions, and gram flour creates a flavor explosion with every bite. Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, these fritters are best enjoyed hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- 8oz gram flour
- 1-2 teaspoon chilli powder (depends how hot you like it)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 large onions (finely sliced)
- 7fl oz water
- Oil for frying
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well
- Add the sliced onions and mix well
- Add the water and mix well
- Drop heaped spoons of the onion batter into the oil (make these as small or large as you like, I find usually a heaped spoon full is just right)
- Fry them a few at a time 5-6 mins each, or till nicely browned, pop onto kitchen roll (to drain some of the fat) and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
