A decadent treat that combines rich dark chocolate with creamy cheesecake swirls. This brownie recipe is a perfect balance of fudgy and tangy flavors, making it a delightful indulgence for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 125g butter
  • 125g dark chocolate chopped
  • 200g brwon sugar
  • 3 eggs lightly beaten
  • 50g plain flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 200g light cream cheese
  • 50g caster sugar

Instructions

  • combine butter, chocolate and brown sugar in a pan and stir over a medium heat until melted.
  • Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly then whisk in the eggs
  • Add flour, cocoa and baking powder and stir until well combined. Pour into a greased, lined rectangular tin (approx 18cm x 28cm)
  • Beat the cream cheese and caster sugar until smooth and creamy then spoon randomly over the chocolate mixture and swirl with the tip of a knife to give a marble effect.
  • bake at 180C, gas mark 4 for 35 - 40 mins or until cooked through. Allow to cool before slicing
