Keralan Prawns

Ingredients
- 1 small onion , finely chopped
- oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 garlic cloves , crushed
- 2cm piece ginger , grated
- dried red chilli , crumbled
- 400g tin chopped tomatoes
- 200g raw peeled prawns
- 1 tbsp low fat yogurt
Instructions
- Put the onion in a pan with 1tsp oil and fry gently for 5 minutes or until it starts to soften
- Add the turmeric, garlic, ginger and red chilli and keep cooking for a few minutes until you end up with a rough, fragrant paste
- Add the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes, adding a splash of water if you need to
- Stir in the prawns and cook until they turn opaque
