Ingredients

  • 1 mug long grain rice
  • 200g king prawns
  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced finely
  • 1 1\2 cm ginger, chopped finely
  • quarter of a chili, seeded, chopped finely
  • 200g green beans, sliced into thirds
  • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced finely
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1\4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Bring the rice to the boil in a big saucepan while stirring the prawns with the five spice and paprika until they're evenly coated
  • Then you put a wok on a high heat with the oil and add the garlic, ginger and chili. Stand until the garlic is gold and crispy
  • After that add the green beans and stand for a few minute stirring occasionally. Do the same with the spring onions
  • To finish the stir-fry scrape in the prawns and add the soy and sweet chili sauce, then you season
  • When the rice is done drain it and also slice the lemon into thirds. Then you just serve the stir-fry with the rice and lemon
