Ingredients

  • The Pasta:
  • 80g tagliatelle
  • The Sauce:
  • 200g of chopped tomatoe ( 1 can)
  • 1tbs basil
  • 30g prawns (frozen)
  • 1 tbs chilli powder/ chilli oil
  • 2tbs olive oil
  • 1tbs pepper (dried-black)
  • 1tbs salt
  • pinch corriander
  • 3 cloves of crushed garlic
  • Finishing Touches:
  • one handful of parmasan cheese
  • pinch of mint ( to top it off)

Instructions

  • Boil the pasta and prawns in seperate pots
  • when the pasta is ready, leave it to simmer at low heat and start on the sauce. about 3 minutes later drain the pasta
  • to start the sauce open the chopped tomatoe can and pour into the saucepan. add all the other ingredients and leave to simmer
  • when the sauce and prawns are ready add to the cooked pasta.
  • leave it ot simmer for about 10 minutes nad stir occasionally
  • whilst it is simmering clear all the surfaces
  • when the pasta is ready, switch the gas off and place on panstand
  • let the pasta cool for 5 minutes and place on a plate and add the cheese on the top and the mint on top of the cheese
  • ENJOY!!
