This spicy and indulgent coffee cocktail is the perfect treat to warm you up on a chilly evening. The aromatic blend of cardamom and nutmeg adds a delightful twist to the rich flavors of coffee and rum. Serve this festive drink to friends and family for a cozy gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hot coffee
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half, heated
  • 2 1/2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 1/8 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup amber rum
  • Grated chocolate for garnish

Instructions

  • <h3><b>Step 1. Stir Ingredients</b></h3> Select 4 mugs. In a pitcher, stir together the coffee, half-and-half, sugar, cardamom and nutmeg. Pour 3 Tbs. of the rum into each mug and top with the warm coffee mixture.   <h3><b>Step 2. Garnish and Serve</b></h3> Stir gently, sprinkle the top with the chocolate and serve immediately. Serves 4.
