Ingredients
- 500 grams New Zealand pork shoulder, diced
- 2 tablespoons clear honey
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
Instructions
- Place the diced pork in a heavy-based saucepan.
- Mix the honey, tomato sauce, soy sauce, tomato puree, vinegar, salt and pepper together and pour over the pork. Stir and cover
- Simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Stir during cooking.
- Mix the cornflour with a little water and add to the mixture
- Cook until it thickens
