Ingredients

  • 50g chopped almonds
  • 200g grated apple
  • 300g raisins
  • 300g sultanas
  • 200g currants
  • 100g mixed peel
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 100g suet
  • 300g demerara
  • 125ml brandy
  • 1 orange juice & grated rind
  • 1 lemon juice & grated rind
  • 1tsp mixed spice

Instructions

  • mix all the ingredients together, cover & leave for two days, stirring occasionally
  • bottle & label, use within 3 months.
