Golden syrup flapjacks are a simple yet delightful treat that will satisfy your sweet cravings. Ingredients

  • 3-4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 275g rolled oats
  • 175g butter
  • 125g Demerara sugar

Instructions

  • Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan
  • Grease a small square tin
  • Add butter and sugar to oats and mix
  • Add golden syrup and mix
  • Cook at 160 degree c (fan) for 30-35 mins
  • Leave to cool for 5 mins - cut into squares whilst still warm - remove from tin and place on cooling tray
  • Once cool store in air tight tin
  • Enjoy
