Fish Pie

Ingredients
- Fish pie mix (tesco or similar - includes smoked haddock, cod or other white fish, and salmon)
- Prawns
- Leeks (to chop and surround fish in base of pie)
- Milk
- Butter
- Flour (Make gravy paste but and milk instead of stock!)
- Salt and pepper (to season sauce before goes ontop of fish)
- Add bay leaf to sauce and pie when transfer sauce
- Could add splash white wine to sauce
- Potatoes to mash
- Cheese to grate on top
Instructions
- Mix the leeks and fish/prawns together in the bottom of a pie dish/tray
- Prepare sauce, fry off butter, add flour to get a paste, add milk to make a medium thickness sauce, add bay leave and then season
- Pour sauce over fish
- Put thick layer of mash ontop (the bottom layer will mix with the sauce) and sprinkle with grated cheese
- Bake for 50mins or until cooked.
