Ingredients

  • 1 red onion
  • 4 apples
  • 250g dried cranberries
  • 250ml can EQ8 Cranberry & Apple
  • 150g demerara sugar
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 100ml balsamic vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  • Soak the cranberries in EQ8
  • Peel, core and chop the apples and onions into 2 to 3cm dice. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan cook the apples and onions on a medium heat for 4 minutes
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients, including the EQ8 and cranberries, and cook down gently for 1 hour, stirring occasionally
  • Leave to cool, then store in jars in the fridge for up to one month.
