Easter Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredients
- 4/5 Hot cross buns
- 250 ml whole milk
- 250ml double cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1tsp castor sugar
- 2tbsp demerara sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven 180c, gas mark 4
- Grease an ovenproof dish about 20cmx25cmx5cm
- Slice buns in halve and spread one side with butter, place in the dish covering the bottom
- Beat the milk, eggs, cream and castor sugar and pour over the buns. Leave to soak for 30mins.
- Sprinkle over the demerara sugar and bake for about 40mins. Serve hot
