Classic Margaritas

Ingredients
- 3 oz. tequila blanco
- 1 oz. Cointreau or triple sec
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 cup coarsely cracked ice
- Coarse sea salt for coating rims of glasses
- Several lime wedges
Instructions
- Spread the salt on a small plate. Moisten the rims of two small tumblers or two margarita glasses with the lime wedge. One at a time, invert the glasses onto the plate to coat the rims, then shake off any excess salt. Fill the glasses with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into the prepared glasses and garnish each glass with a lime wheel. Serve immediately. Makes 2 drinks.
