Ingredients

  • 550g Cherries (500g cherries, stoned)
  • 450g Jam sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod

Instructions

  • Stone the cherries
  • Add the cherries to a large saucepan, add the sugar and the vanilla seeds from the pod
  • bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Leave to cool slightly, then blend in a mixer until smooth.
  • Pour into sterilized jars
