This recipe will guide you through making delicious homemade chapatis using a blend of plain and wholemeal flour. The dough is easy to prepare and only requires a few simple ingredients. Ingredients

  • 70 grams of plain flour
  • 70 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 1 tblsp olive oil
  • 1/2 a tsp salt
  • 50 - 70 mls water

Instructions

  • add all the dry ingredients into a food processor or bowl
  • add the oil
  • slowly whilst mixing add the water until mix comes together
  • gently knead dough then leave to rest for 10 minutes. whilst resting heat a frying pan on a high heat
  • divide dough into 6 pieces and roll out. turn heat down to medium high and add chappatis one at a time cook for 1 minute each side or until it starts to bubble up
