Ingredients

  • 200g Thin Sliced Steak
  • 1tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 1 Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, Crushed
  • 2 tbsp of Tomato Puree
  • 100ml Chicken Stock
  • 1tsp Chinese Five Spice
  • 1tsp Paprika
  • 1 Finely Chopped and Deseeded Red Chilli
  • Juice of Half a lime
  • Small Bunch Fresh Coriander, Roughly Chopped
  • 20g Mangetout
  • Half a Red Pepper
  • 30g Brocolli - sliced thinly
  • 20g Bean Sprouts
  • *or your own choice of selected vegetables

Instructions

  • Heat a large non stick pan or pot over a medium heat and add the oil.
  • Fry the beef for 2 mins or until browned all over
  • Add the Garlic and Onion and fry for a further min
  • Add the vegetables and cook for 2 mins - at this point add the chicken stock
  • After adding the stock stir in the tomato puree, paprika and five spice and lime juice, let this simmer for approx 5 mins
  • Once the sauce starts to reduce add the chilli and corriander.
  • Serve with Rice or Noodles or on its own
